Deputies arrested an East Naples man Thursday after they say he threatened to kill another man who he blamed for his girlfriend’s arrest.
Victor Saldana, 44, 3061 Coco Ave., #7, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and threatening a witness.
Reports say James Ward told deputies that Saldana confronted him with a 6-inch kitchen knife and a 12-inch chef’s knife.
Saldana grabbed Ward by the throat and crossed the steak knife across the right side of his face, causing several lacerations, reports said.
Saldana told Ward he was going to use the larger knife “to kill him with,’’ reports said.
Ward told deputies that Saldana blamed him for his girlfriend’s earlier arrest that day, reports said.
