Child Reported Missing In Immokalee

Deputies are investigating a report of a 13-year-old boy who was last seen by family members on Tuesday afternoon.

Philippe Senatus was last seen by his mother around 4 p.m. riding his bicycle near their home in the 300 block of 14th Street Southeast.

The boy was reported as missing to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday morning.

Investigators said the boy has a history of wandering off.

Someone who knows the boy’s family reported seeing the boy in an area near his house Wednesday morning, but CCSO has been unable to confirm that report.

Investigators described Philippe as black and 5 feet 3 inches and 130 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Investigators say the boy is developmentally disabled and has the mental capacity of a 4-year-old or 5-year-old child. He only speaks Haitian-Creole and is unable to communicate in English.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 793-9300, or if you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
