Deputies: Driver Of Stolen Pickup Didn’t Have License

Deputies arrested a 25-year-old man in East Naples on Thursday night and charged him with driving a stolen pickup without a license.

Sheriff’s reports say deputies conducted a traffic stop on a red Nissan pickup near the intersection of Rattlesnake Hammock Road and U.S. 41 East around 9 p.m.

The driver of the pickup, Jesus Baca, did not have a valid driver’s license, reports said.

Further investigation by deputies found the pickup had been reported stolen out of Lee County.

Deputies arrested Baca, whose address in Golden Gate was not listed on arrest reports, and charged him with grand theft auto and driving without a valid license.
