SUMMARY: An 11-year-old boy told deputies that a sport utility vehicle with several young men inside circled the community basketball courts several times while he played basketball, according to sheriff’s reports.

The boy got scared and hid in some bushes until the SUV left. The boy then asked an adult passer-by whom he did not know for help, reports said.

The adult told deputies that the SUV returned to the area. He asked the occupants what they were doing and they told him they were looking for someone named Dennis.

The boy‘s mother told deputies she went to look for her son and saw a gray SUV parked near their garage. The SUV then drove off.

The boy returned home safely.

Investigators have released this composite of the driver.

Investigators described him as black, in his late teens or early 20s, tall and with his hair cropped short. He was driving a gray or silver SUV with two black stripes.
