Additional Information Released In Bullock Investigation

*Corrected links

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of an August 2009 incident in which Charles Bullock was observed watching a child in the changing area at Lynn Hall Park on Fort Myers Beach.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene the day it happened and documented the incident. LCSO provided the information to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday. Those documents are attached to this release. Also attached is a memorandum written by CCSO Sgt. Scott Walters on Wednesday after researching the Lee County incident.

CCSO turned the information over to the Naples Police Department to be included in its ongoing criminal investigation. CCSO and NPD want the public to be aware of this information, particularly since it may have broadened the scope of the investigation.

On Monday NPD charged Bullock, who at the time was a CCSO corporal, with lewd and lascivious battery and official misconduct. Sheriff Kevin J. Rambosk terminated his employment immediately.

Anyone with information on the investigation is asked to call either the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 252-9300 or the Naples Police Department at 213-4844.
