Due to the nature of the allegations against Mr. Charles Bullock and our request for the public to provide information on the investigation, Sheriff Rambosk will not exercise an exemption to the release of a photo of Mr. Bullock from the Naples Police Department’s investigative file.
Naples Police Department, as the investigative agency, is the custodian of certain documents, and the sheriff’s office has the ability to request that certain information be exempt through FS 119. We will not be exercising that exemption regarding a photograph of Mr. Bullock.
“Personally, I believe arrest photos should be released,” said Sheriff Rambosk. “However, the CCSO is prohibited from releasing the booking photos of current and former law enforcement officers under FS 119.”
Bullock was arrested on Monday and charged with lewd and lascivious battery and official misconduct.
CCSO is conducting both a criminal investigation and an administrative investigation into Charles Bullock’s activities. Anyone with information is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 774-4434.
