Deputies Ask For Public's Help

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in identifying a man who deputies want to question in connection with the fraudulent use of two credit cards.

Deputies say a wallet was left on a counter as the victim was conducting a transaction at Fifth-Third Bank, 7595 Vanderbilt Beach Road, North Naples, on March 25. A man who entered the bank trying to cash in old Mexican currency is believed to have picked up the wallet. One of the credit cards inside the wallet was used at the Piercing Pagoda, 2012 U.S. 41 N., Naples, and the other card was attempted to be used online.

Deputies believe the man lives locally and may have worked at a restaurant in the Mercato Shops, 9259 Mercato Way, North Naples.

Investigators say the man seen in these images may have information about the crime.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 239-252-9300, or if you wish to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
