Human Trafficking To Be Lecture Topic

WHAT: Lunch and Learn lecture series

WHEN: Wednesday, April 21

TIME: Noon to 1:30 p.m.

WHERE: Mackle Park, 1361 Andalusia Terrace, Marco Island

SUMMARY: Two Collier County Sheriff’s Office members will be the featured speakers at the Bedtime Bundles Lunch and Learn lecture series Wednesday.

Victim Advocate Marisol Schloendorn and Cpl. Charles Frost of the agency’s Human Trafficking Bureau will discuss human trafficking. Schloendorn and Cpl. Frost will discuss how to help identify the problem and prevent it from happening.

Bedtime Bundles is an organization that serves Southwest Florida’s migrant children. Basic necessities such as food, first aid supplies, toiletries and gently used clothing, shoes, book and toys are collected and distributed from the group’s Marco Island office.
