Sheriff Rambosk Terminates Deputy

Using his authority as Sheriff and fulfilling his responsibility to the community and to the dedicated and honorable men and women of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Kevin J. Rambosk immediately terminated Cpl. Charles Bullock, who was arrested Monday afternoon in connection with a Naples Police Department investigation.

“I am outraged at the type of behavior outlined in the arrest warrant,” Sheriff Rambosk said. “I have lost confidence in this member’s judgment and his ability to be a law enforcement officer and have terminated his employment effective immediately.”

Bullock was charged with lewd and lascivious battery and official misconduct.

Sheriff Rambosk added that he continues to hold agency members accountable for their conduct. To reinforce his expectations he has been meeting with agency members, including supervisors and managers, so that everyone is clear about conduct requirements.

Bullock remains the focus of parallel criminal and administrative investigations by CCSO.

Anyone with further information on this investigation or activities related to it is asked to call CCSO’s Criminal Investigations Division at 774-4434.
