U.S. 41 East from State Road 29 to the Miami-Dade County line is closed to traffic due to a multi-vehicle collision.
The accident happened on U.S. 41 East near the 45 mile marker around 3:56 p.m., deputies said.
Eastbound U.S. 41 from SR 29 to the Miami-Dade line is expected to be shut down for several hours. Motorists are urged to find an alternate route.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
