The Collier County Sheriff's Office hosted a reception to debut the Community Gallery, a new arts exhibit housed within the CCSO, Thursday evening.

More than 150 people turned out to view the artwork of domestic violence survivors who participate in the Naples Shelter for Abused Women & Children's Healing Arts Program. Members of the Naples Orchestra and Chorus volunteered their talents to provide music during the reception.

The gallery was created to showcase the partnerships developed between the CCSO and community. It is located the administrative offices on the second floor of the Collier County Sheriff's Office, 3301 U.S. 41 E., Bldg. J, East Naples.

CCSO is a community building and welcomes all members of the public to come and view the exhibits.

The Healing Arts Exhibit will run through December. Youth Haven is scheduled to be the second installation at the gallery.

The exhibits featured at the Community Gallery will rotate every three months. Opening receptions will be held for each new exhibit to continually showcase the art and partnership of the participating organization.

The CCSO Community Gallery welcomes any local public service organizations which are interested in setting up a future exhibit.
