Homicide Investigation In Immokalee

Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that left one man dead and another man injured in Immokalee early Saturday morning.

Ernst Ganem, 20, and the other male victim were sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot at 601 W. Delaware Ave., around 12:30 a.m. when they got into an altercation with the unidentified male suspect. The suspect produced a weapon and shot both victims as they sat in their vehicle.

Deputies and paramedics responded.
Ganem, 501 S. 8^th St., Immokalee, was transported to NCH North Collier Hospital, where he later died. The other victim was transported to a local trauma center, where he was listed in critical condition. His identity was unavailable.

No arrest has been made.

An investigation continues.
