The Collier
County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the community in locating a
missing, endangered man in East Naples.
Deputies say
Clifford F. Davis, 64, was last seen around 7:30 a.m. today. He was on foot. He
is believed to be in the area of the Willough at Naples treatment facility,
9001 U.S. 41 E.
Deputies say
there is concern that Davis may harm himself.

said Davis is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 240 pounds with
short hair and a pot belly. He was last seen wearing a gray “Florida” shirt.
Anyone with
information on Davis’ whereabouts is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s

Update: CCSO Investigating Robbery In East Naples
UPDATE: Deputies have arrested a 24-year-old
man and charged him with this robbery.

Oliver Grant was arrested Thursday evening at the Collier County jail, where he
had been booked earlier in the day following his arrest by Naples police on a
separate, unrelated charge of disorderly conduct.
Grant was
still wearing the same clothes he had on during the 7-11 robbery when deputies
arrested him at the jail, detectives said.
Grant, who
arrest reports say is homeless, was charged with robbery and battery.

The Collier

The robbery occurred around 4:30 a.m. at the
7-11 store at 2135 U.S. 41 E.
The Sheriff’s Office has released store
surveillance images of the suspect in the hope he will be identified.
Detectives said the suspect entered the store
and purchased a soda from the store clerk.
He then punched the clerk in her face, knocking her to the ground.

9-11 Memorial Service in Golden Gate Next Week
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office will mark the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks with a ceremony in Golden Gate next week.
CCSO is partnering with the Golden Gate Civic Association, Golden Gate Fire Control & Rescue and Golden Gate High School to host the memorial honoring those who died during the attacks.
The event will take place Thursday, Sept. 11, at 9:30 a.m. at the Golden Gate Community Complex courtyard, 4715 Golden Gate Parkway.
