A man was arrested and charged after he tried to steal two ATVs from a Golden Gate Estates home on Thursday afternoon.Harold Gene Goff, 25, of Lehigh Acres and an unknown man were seen trying to steal two ATVs from a home at 2821 6th Ave. S.E. The two took running after the victim confronted them.
Deputies found Goff in a nearby wooded area and charged him with grand theft, possession of burglary tools, criminal mischief and resisting a law enforcement officer without violence.
Investigators are still searching for the other man involved in the attempted theft.
