VICTIMS: Ricky Lane Bell, 48, and Sherri L. Bell, 47
Collier County sheriff's deputies are investigating an apparent murder/suicide and arson at a North Naples home.
Deputies responded to the home around 5:50 a.m. Sunday after a neighbor reported a fire in a barn at the rear of the Bells' property. When deputies arrived, they found the couple dead.
Investigators say that there appeared to be a struggle inside the house where they found Sherri Bell dead. They believe that Rick Bell killed his wife and then committed suicide in the attached garage. Rick Bell was found in the garage in his Cadillac Escalade apparently dead from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Investigators say that there was no one else at home at the time. The cause of Sheri Bell's death is still under investigation. The Medical Examiner will have to determine how she died.
The investigation continues. No other information will be released.
