Deputies: Man Attacked Partygoers With Bat

A 19-year-old man was arrested Saturday after deputies say he struck three people with a baseball bat at a party in Golden Gate.

Cortney Gonzalez, 17th Ave. S.W., Golden Gate, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Reports say Gonzalez approached Josmony Perez, 20, 2198 55th Terrace S.W., Golden Gate, from behind and struck him in the head with a metal baseball bat. Two partygoers – Lauren Dorris, 17, also of 2198 55th Terrace S.W., and Brian Baker, 20, 2454 Santa Barbara Blvd., Golden Gate - attempted to break up the fight, but were struck by Gonzalez, reports said.
