Deputies: Man Tossed Drugs From Car

A 29-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after deputies say he tossed drugs from his car after being in an Immokalee park after hours.

Clarence Lymon III, 2045 Bell Circle, Immokalee, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic equipment.

Reports say Lymon was alone in a red four-door car that was parked next to a silver pickup along Little League Road in Tony Rosbough Community Park shortly before midnight, after the park had closed.

Deputies patrolling the park attempted to make a traffic stop for trespassing, but both vehicles drove away. Deputies followed the red car onto America Way and activated their emergency lights and sirens. The red car continued south onto Allegiance Way, where the driver stuck his left hand out the window and dropped several small objects, including a red container, onto the street.

Deputies collected a red breath mint container which contained a small, white chalky rock like substance and a small plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance which field tested positive for crack cocaine and cocaine, reports said.

Baggies with a green leafy substance which field tested positive for marijuana was also found, reports said.
