A man was arrested Wednesday after deputies say he threatened two other men with a knife after they kicked him out of an East Naples homeless camp.
John Scott Baker, 41, who arrest reports say is homeless, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Reports say Baker and two other homeless men, Guy Perfetto, 50, and John Wilson, 44, were drinking in the camp in the woods near East Naples Community Park shortly before 8 p.m. Baker became angry and started an argument.
Perfetto told deputies that Baker became argumentative Tuesday night and that he kicked Baker out of the camp Wednesday for his outburst.
Baker refused to leave and pulled out a 4-inch knife, threatening Perfetto. Perfetto told deputies he pulled out his knife and told Baker to leave. Baker then pointed the knife in Wilson’s face and threatened to kill him.
Perfetto chased Baker into the woods. Deputies found Baker sleeping in a nearby restroom.
