Helen Marie Brown, 64, of Columbus, Ohio, was charged with grand theft.
Reports say Brown entered the store at 3652 U.S. 41 N. around 4:30 p.m. and browsed the jewelry section.
Store manager Clarastella Rusch told deputies said she watched Brown pick up pieces of silver costume jewelry and place them into her purse for about an hour.
Brown picked up a few more items, which she paid $81.66 for using cash and a credit card. She left the store without paying for the items she placed in her purse.
Store employees met her outside. The stolen merchandise, which had a combined value of $1,052, was recovered and included: 14 necklaces, 10 pairs of earrings, eight bracelets, five pendants, and one pair of sunglasses.
