UPDATE: William Trettis has been located. He is safe and back with his family.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing East Naples man.
William Trettis, 48, of 254 Griffin Road, was last seen by his family Monday morning. Trettis’ family is concerned about him because he has not had access to his prescription medicines since Monday.
Trettis frequently rides his bicycle from East Naples to the Barnes and Noble at the Waterside Shops in North Naples. He was spotted Tuesday afternoon riding westbound on U.S. 41 at Rattlesnake Hammock Road.
He was wearing a white shirt, khaki shorts and a light-colored baseball cap. The bicycle is a maroon or purple single-speed Huffy Land Cruiser. He is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 250 pounds. He has brown hair. Anyone with information on Trettis’ whereabouts is asked to call CCSO at 793-9300.
