A woman was arrested early Monday in connection with a hit-and-run accident involving a bicyclist in Golden Gate.
Phyllis Michelle Graham, 37, 4133 20th Place S.W., Golden Gate, was charged with hit and run and driving on a suspended license.
Reports say Graham was behind the wheel of a silver Mitsubishi Galant that was traveling north on 45th Street Southwest shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday. Roberto Aragon drove his bike in front of Graham, causing the bike to strike Graham’s car, reports said.
Aragon fell to the ground. Graham and her passenger got out of the car to check on Aragon and then they left without waiting for authorities or exchanging information, reports said.
Graham told deputies she left the scene of the accident because her license was suspended.
