Two people were arrested Tuesday after deputies say an East Naples man walked in on them breaking into his house.Christopher Cornelius, 23, 2247 Spruce St., and Kristen Conyers, 27, 2775 Storter Ave., both in East Naples, were each charged with burglary and grand theft.
Arrest reports say Juan Gallares told deputies that he returned to his house at 79 Truman Circle about 12:15 p.m. Saturday to find Cornelius and Conyers, whom he did not know, inside.
Gallares confronted them and they ran out of the house and drove away in a black car.
Gallares checked his house to see if anything was missing and found that about $50 in change and jewelry valued at around $150 was gone, reports said.
Deputies located Cornelius and Conyers at her residence on Tuesday and arrested them, reports said.
