Deputies arrested a man late Sunday after they say he pointed a handgun at his brother during an argument.
Joe Mancha, 54, 218 N. 5th St., Immokalee, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Arrest reports say Mancha and his brother Henry Mancha, 48, got into an argument around 10:30 p.m. over the tenants living in the shed in the back of the house that they share.
Henry Mancha told deputies that the argument escalated and that Joe Mancha pulled out a handgun, pointed it at him and said, “I’m going to shoot you,” according to reports.
Joe Mancha, who uses a wheelchair to get around, told deputies that his brother knocked him to the ground, but that he never pointed a gun at him, reports said.
A woman who saw the argument confirmed Henry Mancha’s version of the argument, reports said.
