2 East Naples Men Face Drug Charges
Two East Naples men were arrested Tuesday after deputies say they sold prescription narcotics to undercover officers in June.
William Dietlmeier, 37, and James Briggs, 54, both of 1920 Holiday Lane, each were charged with trafficking an opium or derivative and no valid driver’s license.
Reports say Dietlmeier sold 149 oxycodone pills to an undercover deputy June 24. On June 27, Dietlmeier and Briggs sold 95 oxycodone pills to an undercover deputy, according to reports.
They were arrested Tuesday in the parking lot of a CVS pharmacy after arranging to meet an undercover deputy there for another transaction involving oxycodone pills, reports said.
Neither Dietlmeier nor Briggs possesses a driver’s license, although each was seen driving a black Chevrolet Blazer, reports said. Briggs drove it to the June 27 transaction and Dietlmeier was behind the wheel Tuesday, according to reports.
