A hotel worker was arrested Thursday after deputies say she stole a cell phone and a portable media player from guests.Niya Pierre, 18, Saddlebrooke Circle, Apt. 6301, East Naples, was charged with theft-guest property by an employee, a felony.
Arrest reports say Pierre stole an iPod and a Motorola Razer cellular telephone from inside two guest rooms at the Naples Grande Resort, 475 Seagate Drive, North Naples. The items were reported stolen Tuesday.
Niya, who works as a maid at the hotel, had signed out keys to the guest rooms that had items taken from them, reports said.
