Deputies arrested a truck driver Thursday and charged him with a felony after they say he stole brick pavers from a construction company, sheriff’s reports said.Dionicio Martinez III, 29, of Lehigh Acres, was charged with grand theft.
Arrest reports say Martinez took 18 pallets of brick pavers from Cemex, 1425 Wiggins Pass Road, North Naples, without paying for them.
Cemex officials contacted Martinez, who works as a driver for a subcontractor, and asked him to return the pallets, reports said. Martinez’s sales ticket showed he had only paid for two pallets, reports said.
The pallets were valued at $954, reports said.
