Deputies: Man Choked, Threw Pot At Sister

An 18-year-old man was arrested early Monday after he choked his sister and threw a pot of oatmeal at her head during an argument in East Naples, sheriff’s reports said.

Christopher A. Neptune, 5264 Maple Lane, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Arrest reports say Margo Neptune told deputies that she and Christopher Neptune got into an argument at their residence at Whistlers Cove apartments late Sunday night. Christopher Neptune grabbed her neck and choked her until she felt like she was going to lose consciousness, reports said.

Margo Neptune said she fell to the ground and her brother kicked her in the face several times, reports said.

Marielle Neptune, Margo’s twin sister, told deputies that she heard yelling inside the apartment and tried to break up the fight, reports said. She said she saw her brother kick Margo Neptune in the face twice.

Then, she said, he picked up a pot filled with oatmeal from the stove and threw it at Margo Neptune, striking her in the back of the head, reports said.

He then went to his room to get his keys and left in his car, reports said.
