2 Sought In Connection With Armed Robbery

Deputies are looking for two men who carried out an armed robbery an Ave Maria jewelry store Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say the men entered Beckner Jewelry, 5080 Annunciation Circle, at around 2:30 p.m. One of them tied up the man who was working in the store while the other cleared the display cases of jewelry. Both suspects carried a gun. They left through the back door with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.

The men were wearing jeans and dark shirts. Their faces were covered from the nose down with red bandanas. Both are believed to be about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a slim build. Witnesses said they appeared to be black or Hispanic. There is no vehicle description.

The victim was unharmed. There were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery.
