SUMMARY: Deputies are investigating the death of a 16-month-old Golden Gate boy who died after witnesses say a television fell on him Wednesday afternoon.
Julian Sanchez, 5215 32nd Ave. S.W., was near a television in a bedroom of his home when an older sibling climbed the 4-foot tall TV stand to turn it off. The television and stand toppled, and the 36-inch TV struck Julian.
Julian was transported to Physicians Regional Medical Center on Pine Ridge Road, where he later died.
The investigation is continuing, but investigators say conditions at the scene are consistent with an accidental death.
