A Michigan man is facing a felony charge after deputies say he punched and stomped on another man during a fight in East Naples on Monday.Joseph L. Hayes, 42, of Bangor, Mich., was charged with felony battery.
Arrest reports say witnesses told deputies that Hayes and Jerry Lee Stainbrook, 19, also of Bangor, Mich., engaged in a fight for unknown reasons on Rookery Bay Drive. Witnesses also said Stainbrook tried to get away, but that Hayes pursued him and continued to push, punch and stomp on him, reports said.
Hayes and Stainbrook are friends and are visiting Collier County, reports said.
