Deputies arrested a 20-year-old man Monday and charged him with stealing from his stepbrother and then pawning some of the stolen items.Austin Robert Andersen, 2920 24th Ave. N.E., Golden Gate Estates, was charged with grand theft and dealing in stolen property, both felonies.
Arrest reports say Andersen stole a Nintendo DS game system valued at $200 from his stepbrother Clark Gordo, 34, whom he lives with, in early March. Andersen then sold the game to a local pawn shop for $20, reports said.
Andersen is also charged with stealing a Wal-Mart gift card for $30, a Target gift card for $50 and a child’s purse valued at $25, reports said.
