Members of all Collier County Neighborhood Watch groups are invited to the monthly Neighborhood Watch meeting.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at the Professional Development Center, 615 3rd Avenue S.
This month’s speaker will be Lt. George Welch, coordinator of CCSO’s Crisis Intervention Team Training (CIT). This program is a 40-hour course that teaches local law enforcement how to identify people with mental illness, communicate with them and connect them with resources they need.
