Deputies are investigating a shooting that took place at 6:27 p.m. at the Golden Gate Community Center, 4701 Golden Gate Parkway. The shooting happened during a Haitian Flag Day celebration.
Investigators say the victim, who is about 19 years old, was transported by helicopter to Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers.
