Golden Gate Task Force Takes Out the Trash

The Golden Gate Task Force recently targeted six alleys to clean up and help keep Golden Gate City an enjoyable place to live. Golden Gate District COPS Cpl. Robert Capizzi and Cpl. Bruce Cordivari, Code & Utility Enforcement and citizens worked together to pick up debris including trash, furniture, electronics, tires, mattresses and more. During the two-hour Earth Day event on April 22 the group gathered 1,120 pounds of debris and trash and uncovered 62 property code violations.
