Deputies: Woman Stole Wallets From Gucci

Deputies arrested a 27-year old woman on a felony charge after they say she stole two wallets from the Gucci store at Waterside Shops in North Naples.

Tiffany Prisella Mitchell,1872 Airport-Pulling Road, East Naples, was arrested Thursday and charged with grand theft.

Arrest reports say Mitchell entered Gucci at 5:41 p.m. on June 23 and placed a ladies wallet valued at $400 inside her purse. She then left the store without paying for the wallet.

Mitchell returned to the store a few minutes later and took a wallet valued at $345. She removed the wallet’s security sensor tag, placed the wallet in her purse and then left the store without paying, reports said.

Gucci employees told deputies that Mitchell has shopped at the store on several prior occasions, reports said.

Deputies arrested Mitchell as she tried to make an exchange at the store Thursday. She was using one of the stolen wallets when deputies arrested her, reports said.
