WHAT: Candlelight Vigil
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009
LOCATION: In front of the Collier County Courthouse, 3301 U.S. 41 E., East Naples.
TIME: 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
SUMMARY: The Collier County Sheriff’s Office and Drug Free Collier will host the event to recognize drug use and abuse to be a problem with all ages.
Sheriff Kevin J. Rambosk will attend the vigil and speak on the issue as well as representatives from Drug Free Collier .
The vigil is in coordination with the National Overdose Prevention Education (NOPE) task force and is part of Red Ribbon Week activities.
CCSO is teaming up with Drug Free Collier to promote healthy and drug-free lifestyles during Red Ribbon Week 2009, which concludes Saturday.
