CCSO, Community Partner To Celebrate With A Star

Thanks to the generosity of agency members and the community, this year’s Collier County Sheriff’s Office Celebrate With A Star program was a tremendous success.

CCSO delivered a van filled to the brim with gifts for children in the Grace Place program in Golden Gate. Soon after, an array of items were loaded into an enclosed trailer and delivered to Collier County Domestic Animal Services.

Grace Place is a nonprofit community center that teaches literacy, language and life skills to hundreds impoverished children and families. The center offers children in need with an array of programs including youth development, after-school care and summer day camps.

Domestic Animal Services is charged with the care of thousands of homeless dogs, cats and other domestic animals each year. Donated items help it carry out its mission.

CCSO thanks all who contributed to Celebrate With A Star and wishes everyone a happy and safe holiday season.
