CCSO Wants You!

There is strength in numbers, especially when it comes to community involvement.

The North Naples Community Safety Team wants more residents to join the effort in helping Collier County stay a great and safe place to live. Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies and CST members will walk the neighborhood between the 7-Eleven, 4612U.S. 41 N., and Granada Boulevard handing out informational fliers Tuesday, May 18.

There are Community Safety Teams in all six CCSO districts: Golden Gate, East Naples, Immokalee, Everglades, North Naples, and Golden Gate Estates. Members of the community take charge of their neighborhoods and work with CCSO and county code enforcement to address quality-of-life and safety issues.

The on-foot meet-and-greet with residents will begin at 6 p.m. The purpose is to encourage more citizens to join the team and to educate the public about CST activities and partnership with the CCSO.

The next North Naples CST meeting will be Tuesday, May 25 at the Faith Lutheran Church, 4150 Goodlette-Frank Road N., at 6 p.m.
