Residents met with deputies and representatives from Collier County Waste Management and Mosquito Control at the corner of Brantley Boulevard and Della Drive to talk one-on-one about the various things they can do to stay safe.
CCSO also assisted with a Collier County Code Enforcement cleanup initiative. Several employees at the Super Target, 2415 Tarpon Bay Boulevard, Golden Gate, donated their time to help clean up the area. By the end of the effort ten Dumpsters were filled with yard debris and other trash.
