CCSO Helps Cause For Paws

Members of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office banded together to show support for the Humane Society of Collier County’s fifth annual Run for the Paws event Jan. 29.

To help raise money for furry friends in need of loving homes, nine CCSO members and their families ran 3.1 miles along North Road. The group’s effort raked in $966.54 in donations, making the team, the CCSO K-9 Unit, the top fundraising group for the event.
