Some 300 kindergartners and first-graders learned about bicycle safety during a bike rodeo at Golden Terrace Elementary School in Golden Gate on Friday.
Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies discussed the importance of practicing bike safety such as always wearing a helmet and answered student questions about how to properly ride their bicycles.
After the discussion, the kids got to try out their safe riding skills on an obstacle course.
