One of the most popular features on the Collier County Sheriff’s Office’s website -- the daily arrest log -- will be unavailable Saturday and Sunday while the agency upgrades its computer network.
CCSO is in the process of upgrading many of its core computer operating systems.
This weekend’s planned upgrade will affect the availability of some of the functions on www.colliersheriff.org, including the arrest log. The arrest log displays arrests from the previous day, along with mug shots. Site visitors can also search by first name, last name, arrest date or booking number for arrests in Collier County dating back to 2000.
Other website functions that won’t be available Saturday and Sunday include the daily real-time traffic updates. Site visitors also won’t be able to report a crime tip online.
These functions are expected to resume Monday.
CCSO apologizes for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, this is one of the steps necessary to keep the agency’s computer network up to date.
