Bank Robbery In Golden Gate

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed a Golden Gate bank Wednesday morning.


Deputies responded to a report of a robbery at the Bank of America Branch at 12965 Collier Blvd. around 9:51 a.m.


The robber gave a teller a note, demanding money. The teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber ran out of the bank. He did not display a weapon.

The robber was described as black. He was wearing a Florida Marlins hat, a white T-shirt, black jacket, and baggy jeans.

Deputies, with assistance from CCSO’s K-9 and aviation units, are actively searching for the suspect.

An investigation continues.
