CCSO: Phishing Scams Target Comcast Customers

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office wants the public to be aware of several phishing scams involving Comcast.

Customers of Comcast have reported receiving e-mails that appear to come from the cable company asking for personal information or directing them to click on a link, which does not lead to a Comcast page. The e-mails may even contain the Comcast logo.

CCSO advises any customers who have received this type of e-mail to contact Comcast first before responding.
