CCSO Seeks Public’s Help In Golden Gate Attack

Detectives are asking for the public’s help in their investigation into an attack that left a man in a wheelchair badly beaten in Golden Gate on Sunday night.

Francis Domingo Rosa, 23, suffered a head wound in the attack, which happened outside a residence at 4547 32nd Ave. S.W. around 9:30 p.m.

Rosa, who has a medical condition that requires him to use a wheelchair to get around, was in critical condition at Lee Memorial Hospital on Monday afternoon, detectives said.

Rosa told detectives that he was attacked by two black males who drove away in a vehicle. He was unable to offer detectives a description of his attackers or their vehicle.
