CCSO Promotes Collier Youth Programming

Deputies from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office participated in the inaugural Estates Youth Fest on Jan. 28 at the Sweet Bay Supermarket in Golden Gate. The Homeowners Association of Golden Gate Estates’ hosted the event to promote the various programs and services available for kids and teens in Collier County. CCSO community partner and hometown race car driver Michael Cenzi also discussed the dangers of texting while driving and CCSO deputies and Crime Prevention specialists offered residents tips on staying safe. This family-fun event also included a car show organized by the Naples Rock Hot Rod Association, rock-climbing wall, free snow cones and child identification fingerprinting.
