Deputies arrested Darryl Alexander Williams, 35, of Tampa, and Michael Jermaine Williams, 35, of Riverview, and charged them with trafficking in cocaine.
Michael Williams was driving a 2008 Nissan Altima westbound on I-75 around 5 p.m. when deputies stopped him for a traffic violation near the 100 mile marker.
He appeared extremely nervous while speaking to deputies and had to brace himself against the patrol vehicle at times to keep his balance, according to arrest reports. Deputies asked the front passenger, Darryl Williams, to exit the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle turned up a clear plastic bag containing 30 smaller clear plastic bags inside the trunk. Each of the smaller clear plastic bags contained a white powdery substance, which tested positive for cocaine, reports said.
The cocaine weighed approximately 852 grams and had an estimated street value of $28,000.
