Want to help Southwest Florida stay beautiful?
The Collier County Sheriff's Office, along with the Golden Gate Task Force and the county Code Enforcement and Waste Management departments, will team up with Golden Gate residents to clean up canals near 39th Street S.W. and White Boulevard on Saturday, Sept. 15.
It’s all part of the annual Keep Collier Beautiful – Coastal Cleanup initiative.
Dumpsters will be available at White Boulevard and 25th Avenue S.W. to help haul away unwanted items.
The cleanup begins at 8 a.m. with a meet-up at Porky’s Last Stand, 2560 39th Street S.W. Particpants are welcome to bring their kayaks to assist with the cleanup.
