CCSO Announces Android Version Of CCSO2go App

You asked for it. You got it.

When the Collier County Sheriff’s Office rolled out its CCSO2go iPhone app in 2011, the community responded with a resounding, “We love it! When are you going to give us an Android version?”

It’s here.

Now Droid users can stay on top of the latest agency news, watch agency videos, receive real-time traffic information and more.

The app also displays the daily arrest log and connects users to the agency’s Facebook page, YouTube channel and Twitter feed. Looking for your nearest substation? You’ll find the address and a map to get you there in CCSO2go.

The app also offers timely push notifications of CCSO news so that users can receive breaking news about crimes and arrests.

“My law enforcement philosophy is that the more information we can provide to our community the safer Collier County will be,” said Sheriff Kevin Rambosk.

The app, which was developed in-house at no additional cost to taxpayers, is free and downloadable in Google Play.
