Sheriff Rambosk Named To FSA Board

Collier County Sheriff Kevin Rambosk has been named to the board of directors of the Florida Sheriffs Association.

He was appointed to the position Jan. 27 during the organization’s winter conference in Miramar Beach.

The FSA provides Florida’s 67 sheriffs with a forum to address lawmakers and promote positive changes in the state’s criminal justice system. The FSA also provides sheriff’s offices with programs such as affordable training, special task forces, and legislative and legal services. In addition, the FSA established and continues to support the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. The FSA is one of the largest and most successful law enforcement associations in the nation.

In addition to his service on the FSA board of directors, Sheriff Rambosk serves on the board of directors for The Shelter for Abused Women and Children, the board of directors for the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, and the board of trustees for Youth Haven. He also serves as the vice-chairman of the Substance Abuse Coalition of Collier County, the co-chairman of the Southwest Florida Domestic Security Task Force and as a member of the D.A.R.E. America International Executive Law Enforcement Advisory Board.
